Traditions is a culmination of a career spent in music and theatre for composers/ playwrights Laura Voss and Sylvia Haynie. Commissioned as a work for the holidays, Voss and Haynie set about to create a show balancing the religious aspects of the season with the celebration of what it means to be a family. Spend your holidays with three generations of the Sullivan family as they gather to celebrate all the things that give families cause to be thankful. Weddings, births, adoptions and faith all figure into this story of people joined by the bond of love and, of course, their traditions. Funny, touching and realistic, this family could be your own. Macon Little Theatre is proud to bring back to the stage the performance of this original work by local artists Sylvia Haynie and Laura Voss. Join us for the birth of a new tradition for you, our family of holiday theatre-goers.
