Macon Little Theatre presents “The Honky Tonk Angels” a musical comedy by Ted Swindley, the author of the hit “Always Patsy Cline”. Join us on a hilarious, rollicking and touching journey that celebrates the voices of women in country music. Experience Stand by Your Man, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Delta Dawn, 9 to 5, Harper Valley PTA, I Will Always Love You and many other great songs through the voices of the three country gals who meet on a bus on their way to Nashville to follow the “music city dream” of becoming a star. Romance, husband problems, independence and a little gospel thrown in for good measure result in a thrilling theatrical mixture of laughter, friendship and maybe a tear or two.
